This is my recent column in the Yorkshire Post on 18th August 2023 on the importance of being there for order bereaved carers.  When I wrote this I was shocked to find during my research that men over the age of 85 plus are more likely to take on the caring responsibilities for their spouse or partner. When they lose their loved one it is our responsibility to prove we are there to support them during their grief, and beyond.
